5. Introducing League Levels
The Affiliate League comes with awesome prizes, allowing you to up your game financially. But money is not the only benefit you will be taking advantage of. League levels are an important element of the overall reward structure, and allow you to unlock invaluable perks.
Special Perks
The table below shows the three types of perks you will unlock with your league level.

Level 2 Revenue
This is perhaps the strongest perk of all. As you know, the default commission for bookings coming from level 2 referrals is set at 0.1%.
Level 2 referrals are the referrals of your referrals.
However, you can greatly improve your commission by growing your league level. Each level will boost it by an additional 0.05%, for a maximum of 0.6%.
This perk is dynamic and constantly adjusts to your league level. The same level 2 referral can thus yield different revenue based on your league performance.
Gift Card Discount
Gift card discounts are a way for us to say thank you. They enable trusted affiliates cheaper access to purchasable gift cards and make it easier to incorporate them into their strategy.
Let's examine the effect based on a $50 gift card.
You will receive a 6% discount, which reduces the price of a $50 gift card to $47.
Gift cards are meant to support your affiliate career. Abusing the discount for private usage may disqualify you from the league and reset your progress.
Cookie Duration
Affiliate cookies are an important feature that greatly enhance conversion rates. They ensure that the referral will be assigned correctly, even if the browser has been closed between clicking on your link and proceeding with the registration.
The default cookie lasts for 30 days before it gets uninstalled automatically. You can prolong that duration by 1 day for each league level, for a maximum of 10 additional days.
Level System
Your league level depends on the number of new referrals you are able to refer within one league round. If you start from scratch, your level after the round will depend on the conditions outlined in the table below.

Let's say you were able to acquire 11 new referrals within the round. This means you will have finished the round at level 5 and the following perks will be activated for the duration of the next full round:
0.35% level 2 commission
7.5% gift card discount
+5 days cookie duration
At the start of each round, your level will degrade by 2. In our example, you will start the new round at level 3 instead of starting from scratch.
Acquiring 11 more referrals during the round on top of level 3 (virtually 4 referrals) will bring your total to 15 referrals, or level 6.
Not generating any new referrals on the other hand would result in finishing the round at level 3, and thus reducing the effect of your special perks.
Only paying referrals count. A referral, who never made a booking will not count towards your league level.
Level-Based Bonus
In addition to the perks described above, you will also receive a small bonus at the end of each league round, depending on your level. These may for example consist of limited gift cards. The higher your level, the greater the reward!
